For women diets rich in potassium (found in bananas) has shown to level the PH balance in the vaginal canal, making the area more habitable for sperm to survive to reach the egg for conception. Maintaining a healthy weight in women has also been shown to be beneficial. Women who are overweight have been shown to have an increased difficulty in conceiving.
